Estacada Web Academy (EWA) is a charter school that offers a wide range of educational options outside of traditional 'brick and mortar' schools. Through EWA, we offer home education and online curricula monitored by state-accredited, highly qualified teachers who communicate with students regularly and meet with them in person during orientations and other learning opportunities.  We believe that, with our high quality curriculum and our commitment to close student-teacher relationships, we can help students achieve their academic goals.

Calvert Curriculum - Grades K-2

Calvert’s curriculum offers hands-on, interactive learning which helps your child refine his or her reading skills with our phonics-based approach and our colorful, read-aloud books.

The Calvert curriculum’s emphasis is on short vowel and consonant sounds, sequencing, auditory and visual discrimination, classifying, and rhyming. Reading materials are integrated with science and social studies, allowing for a seamless interdisciplinary education.

Online Curriculum - Grades 3-12

EWA uses ODYSSEYWARE®, which is a leading provider of online curriculum and eLearning solutions for charter, public, and virtual schools across the United States. With more than thirty years of experience, ODYSSEYWARE® provides innovative, 21st century learning opportunities for today’s tech-savvy learners grades 3-12.

ODYSSEYWARE® includes courses in the core subjects of social studies and history, math, language arts, and science, as well as a variety of electives. To ensure students begin at the appropriate grade level, placement testing is also available for elementary, middle, and high school students.
